How long is my hire for?
General Hire Quotes are for a weekend – Friday to Monday (Setup may occur on these days or outside of these days depending on availability). A time suitable for all involved will be arranged with you prior to your event.
Should you require the marquee for a longer period of time, please advise us before we provide you with a quote.
What size marquee do I need?
We can help you determine the marquee size you need. Contact us with the event type, number of guests, seating style, any other items you require space for and size of the area where the marquee will be installed, and we can provide you with a personalised layout plan.
What are the terms and conditions of hire?
All prices quoted are for weekend hire within a 25km radius of Mackay CBD. Extended hire lengths and locations outside of this range will be quoted individually.
Site inspection will be required for all sites prior to securing your booking. Installation day will be negotiated with you at the time of venue inspection.
A 25% Deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will become non-refundable 30 days prior to your event date.
Full payment must be received no less than 7 days before your event.
Locations may be rejected due to security concerns. From installation to dismantling, all structures and equipment must be kept secure and will be billed accordingly.
The hirer shall be responsible for any loss or damage incurred to the equipment, excluding fair wear and tear, during the time installed for the hire. If there is a breakdown, damage or failure of the equipment the hirer shall notify On the Marque Events immediately for appropriate action to be taken. Repair costs for damaged incurred during hire will be passed on to the hirer.
The Marquee has been manufactured for use as a temporary structure. For the safety of all occupants evacuation is recommended if threatening weather occurs. Should high wind (gusts of 70 km/hr and above) be likely installation will not occur and evacuation of the erected structure is recommended.
All equipment on hire remains the property of On The Marque Events.
Is setup included in the price?
Yes. Setup and dismantle is included in your quote.
Can we setup the marquee ourselves?
No, unfortunately due to the size and difficulty of assembling the marquee we do not allow customers to set up the marquee themselves.
How long does it take to setup the marquee?
Setup time varies depending on the size you require. Time required can be anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours.
What kind of surfaces can your marquee be setup on?
Our marquee can be installed on many surfaces such as lawn, gravel, with the use of pegs into the ground. Due to the risk of services under the ground being hit by a peg during setup, a site inspection is required and a map of any services underground provided by the customer.
We can also setup on hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt, please call to discuss this option with us.
Do you offer lighting options?
We have lighting options available and we are willing to work with you to meet your requirements.
Do you offer flooring options?
Currently we do not have any flooring options available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Are there any additional charges that I should know about?
No, all our quotes include all transport and tax charges.
What happens if the marquee is damaged?
If any hire equipment becomes damaged please call us to discuss any immediate action that may be required. Repair costs for damage/s incurred during hire will be passed on to the hirer.
