On The Marque Events is a new, family owned marquee hire company, local to Mackay. We service Mackay and the surrounding areas are locally owned and pride ourselves on quality service and honesty.
With 8 years’ experience in event planning, we will do our best to advise and provide you with solutions to your event needs.
Where it all started
Our Background
We’ve always had a passion for events! But let me tell you a story… Back in 2017, (feels like forever ago now!)we decided we wanted to make a difference. We weren’t sure how, but we knew we’d need money. So fundraising was the next logical step. With an existing passion for events we thought, “hey why not use our event planning skills to raise the money?” So we did… long story short we found ourselves owners of our first marquee which held our fundraising event. We managed to raise much needed funds and with the support of ADRA Australia and Mackay Regional Council the team was able to start a community initiative now known as Mealtime on Milton. This desire for helping others and to make a difference, fuelled our event planning passion, and we found ourselves with a marquee. Now what does one do with such a large marquee after the event?
It’s taken some time to get us to this point, but here we are!
